I think Goff was a product of that system. The system has been figured out, and so has the QB
I agree with you that with a good oline, and run game he is productive... take those away and HE SHOULD NOT BE ONE OF THE WORST QBS IN FOOTBALL
His skill set has to be able to elevate this team. He still has to display certain traits that can allow the offense to function and not just collapse
Does he read defenses quickly? Has Goff ever demonstrated that to you? A quick release that allows him to get rid of the ball before defenders get there? How about that... does Goff have a quick release? Athletic ability to make defenders miss and extend plays? Uh no... Uncanny accuracy? Is there a pattern developing here
So what does Goff do that is special that makes you think that he gives the Rams any chance even with a banged up oline?
Give him Todd Gurley (MVP version), a good oline, and the NFL best WRs and yeah he can play like atop 10 QB

With Goff there is trust and confidence between he and McVay, I posed a question a couple of weeks ago about trading Goff for two 1's and some people went crazy. In the long run it is easier to fix the O Line and keep Goff, but if Tua falls to the fourth round I would grab him in a second.
