What happened yesterday was disgusting and might cost the Rams a playoff spot.
It seems the refs these days are just too worried to blow the play dead and will instead rely on the Al Riveron in New York to bail them out.
Problem is, Al Riveron is the worst thing that has happened to the NFL in long long time....there have been countless plays like yesterday this year that have been butchered by the on field refs only to be upheld by him in New York ...it's truly bizarre that Goff's fumble wasn't overturned as it clear as day that is was a forward pass. There was no doubt about it, yet somehow the extra point team is out there kicking the extra point less then a minute later.
They need to fix it and have a trained three person panel view these plays and majority rules determine the call...not ONE "senior official" make the final call....there is no need to speed the game up, just get it right!!!
