It is a mental thing..and I give HUGE kudos to McVay, Goff and Gurley for not throwing any shade at the OL....but it all starts there.
No one on this board thinks Goff is Joe Montana yet, but like any QB, if you apply pressure it affects your psyche. If anything, I commend Jared for not losing his $#$@ .... he is definitely missing some throws he needs to make, but on the other hand, he is under duress 90% of the time and is being asked to do what Kurt Warner was asked to do.....take all the hits, physically and mentally, and carry the team.
I honestly think McVay loves Jared and believes in him.......McVay himself was a QB and knows what he is facing. That is why the 5-7 step drop plays are insane. That is what I'm questioning: the play calling.
