Notebloom was a bust (so far) at guard - at Tackle maybe not so bad. Edwards has the athleticism (former TE) to play tackle. Might surpise people.

Color me skeptical that a guy who is absolutely abysmal at Guard is going to be a good LT coming off a torn ACL/MCL. I think we should be considered lucky if Noteboom makes the roster next year.

Whitworth got push on his on the Goff phantom fumble/TD, he's most likely retiring. All we got is prayers for our current rookies and castoffs. Allen is a liability. Blythe is awful. Neither of them have any punch. Horrible in run game. I think they can dump Havenstein next year and not get hit to badly in the CAP. He is so bad in pass pro. I think he got away with it last year because the run game was so good.

He wasn't "absolutely abysmal" (I know it's hyperbole season) and according to one albeit mercurial and changeable fan who saw him live this season, he has the best feet of any OL on the squad.

The mistake everyone is making is, they look at an out if sync OL that isn't coherent yet and then act like they can judge individual players. When your OL is out of sync, no one looks good. Talent wasn't the issue.

...

I think we both appreciate that we have philosophical differences on the OL process.

Suffice it to say, that I take a much harsher (you may call it negative or something of your own liking) view on what we have and what is needed.

Lets just keep it as we see it differently since we know how this always ends based on our past history. At this point, I'd rather we stay friends. Deal?
