There is a downside to over using Gurley with that knee. And that knee will never again be 100%.
What if overuse costs Gurley a whole game? Or multiple games? Or the balance of his career? Or hell, maybe the ability to walk without a cane after retirement?
What then? How does any of THAT help the Rams?

Look, I’m frustrated, too. We all are. But it is what it is. We need to plan for life without Gurley ASAP. The Rams are painted into a corner on this Gurley knee issue. We need to accept it and plan accordingly.
