To quote Dead, ‘ My problem is 43 saying it is an over reaction, to even suggest it. It isn't, its a viable option for a team running low on options‘.
Just for a little context, McVay is dealing with an OL in disarray that got even worse during the game due to injuries to Allen and Hav, a Gurley that is far less than !00%, and a missing Cooks to stress the Steeler D.
The ripple effects involve everybody on the field offensively PLUS severely restricts McVay’s play calling options.
I disagree that the play caller is the problem. As I said previously, McVay is in a knife fight inside a phone booth. When things are ‘normal’, McVay’s O’s are elite.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion, Dead. I value your opinions greatly. But we just see this one differently, man. It’s cool.
