I agree with you on that, but I feel the Rams who were in a Super Bowl window did not see that and thought they could plug and play anyone and all would be fine. In my opinion they were wrong. Yes, I get these players need time to develop, but starting them on a Superbowl contender was not a good idea and we are all seeing why. The line stinks, the team is struggling and the line is poorly rate by objective services that measure those things. Goff is getting killed.
I think there were serviceable lineman available in free agency or through trade. We will see that process now happen next off season.
