And last year they used that #1 pick to get more picks and stack the roster.
We cannot do that for 3 years now and we have holes in a number of places.
The impact of losing these first-rounders may not be felt for 4 or 5 years.
I'm not saying they can't go back by doing this, but I am saying that they really, really need to nail their lower draft picks.
I think this trade could define McVay's tenure - I just hope my concerns are misplaced and it defines it in a positive way.
