Whole Quote in italics:
3-3 is not anything yet. It's 10 games away from an actual season record. Teams can go 3-3 and then get worse or better. The Parcells Giants started out 3-3 in 1984, ended up 9-7, and then in the playoffs beat the Rams in the wild card round before losing to the 49ers in the divisional round. So after starting out 3-3 in 1984, the Giants ended up being exactly what Parcells said they were--a playoff team.Parcell's teams were balllers...lunch pail types....this team is not 'solid' like his---3-3 would reflect that differently than Parcells 'incomplete' and much lower talented squad...
and thus 3-3 is something very bad for a team as talented as the LA Rams--- I will hash this out several times below, because I can't write well...maybe I will make sense. lol
Ok ZN: the quote I contend is: "3-3 is not anything yet"---this is the statement that I (Steve) am saying doesn't apply to the 2019 Rams like it applies to the 1984 Giants game.... 3-3 was normal for a lunch pail Giants team in its Parcells infancy. Giants controlled their games, an dlost close ones because of lack of talent...while the Rams are losing like idiots.
3-3 for the 2019 Rams is awful, while 3-3 for the 1984 Giants was status quo for that point in the season---this reflects that 3-3 is portence for the 2019 Rams, but said very little about the 1984 Giants.. Those Giants were right where they were supposed to be, while the 2019 Rams have a horrific O line, and are making many, many mental errors in pass protection, coverage, and they look confused....this is not
the look of a team that "could" do something or 'go places'....I guess that is not recognized, and I shall go to the grave forever lamenting the 2019 Rams lackingness...lol
I get you won't get it, and i love you anyways ram-brudder
