I'm in the process of copying old family/business vid stuff over to DVD.
They are really getting hard to find.
Bought 2 others this year at yard sales.
If you go this route, be sure and stay close when they are plugged in.
Both caught on fire/started smoking after about 30 minutes of being plugged in..........really
I did the same thing. I had some old family videos I needed to transfer over to DVD (I bought the Dazzle software to do it which worked great). I ended up buying several VHS players off eBay (they were junk) before I finally found a good one that works. Most of the ones I found out there didn't even come with power cords. (huh?)
