Its a big game and the Rams should win it in LA

But its just not a must win ... its too early and way too much football to go

For example if they won Sunday but lost the next two obviously that would be problematic

Sunday is an important game but its not a must win

Winning this game is crucial. It keeps you in the hunt for the division title. Lose the game and it matters little what happens in the following 2 games.

Allow me to explain...

If we lose to the Niners, we will be chasing them the next 8 games. And we will be 3 losses behind them. That means we will have to win 3 more games than they do in the next 8 games just to be tied with them going into our game against them in SF. For example, if they went 5-4 after beating us, we would have to go 7-1 to be tied with them going into the game in SF.

And then we will need to beat them in SF otherwise we don’t have a shot of winning the division.

Simply put, if we lose Sunday, the numbers are stacked against us big time.
