but, the rams have an open offensive coordinator position and the raiders have our old linehan buddy greg olson at oc. i suppose both teams could offer jay a ___ position + assistant head coach thing but i think the rams have the trump card with the open oc coupled with assistant head coach.
i like the idea of jay at oc.
not only for veteran support with playoff experience for mcvay but also for the entire offensive coaching staff. ideally, the rams would get a 2 headed oc monster with better weapons than they had in washington - as long as they're complementary and cooperative. the downside scenario would be egos are a problem and they conflict. based on the article and their history in dc, i'm guessing the former is more likely.
i know we're all biased here but which team would you rather be with as a bridge for the balance of 2019 to your next head coaching gig?
