Seems like we kept trying to run wide and kept getting stuffed. Teams have made adjustments to our offense and we have are still struggling with how to combat those adjustments. It is not just the running game but also the passing game that is suffering. We did a double reverse that caught them napping which was a nice adjustment but our offense is still not hitting on all cylinders yet.
I don't know how much is Gurley. He seems to be okay when he is attacking the middle of the defense but little luck on running wide and he has been basically missing from the passing game which is a choice by McVay I would think.
We had all winter to figure out how to make adjustments and it seems like we are still figuring it out.
