I think in the minds of the refs we've arrived. And that means we're going to get the benefit of the doubt on some calls, as well as on non-calls. It helps, too, that McVay treats the refs well on top of this, because the combination of the two things IMO will lead to calls trending your way. If they know you're a good team plus they like the guy on the sidelines that's a winning ref mix.
Speaking of which... Payton is a moron. Even though the refs know his team is a top roster they don't get calls because he's a jerk. If you watch him during games on the sideline he's constantly whining at them.
