Now I have reviewed the game again and RFL is not wrong in most of his assessments as Demby struggles with someone over him and disengages on running plays, however, he's the first guy to help someone up....I thought this was an excellent perspetive, but Demby offers far more from the neck up and IMO, that's why he was first off the bench. He knows the offense inside and out and won't make a mistake on the assignment and that is major from a coaching viewpoint.
Also let's keep in mind, it was Demby's first action in regular season and he did not commit any penalties and although gave up some pressures, no sacks, so that's how they are looking at it as well. This goes two ways, either Demby improves week over week because that does happen or he struggles against an excellent Brown defense and if that happens, IMHO, you will see Edwards come in and play LG and maybe for the next several years, but we'll see...Taking nothing away from RFL as IMO, that was on point.
