Erases evident failures on his watch?
My friend, I won't get into a long back and forth. But I will say this once.
Saying an experienced coach with a good track record should be trusted to be on top of things is a theory. A general principle. Not an assessment of evident performance. If you're fine with that theory, then cool.
I am not fine with blind trust. When a coach and staff trot out a lame excuse for an OL, I do not just say, well, he must know what he is doing. I know lousy performance when I see it, and Kromer's history doesn't absolve it.
And I am not fine with the risks. I am so stoked by every other aspect of the team. We can be really, really good this year … unless our OL breaks down. And then there is the injury factor. Running a guy like Demby out there puts Goff's career into serious jeopardy. I am not OK with that.
All right, I'll stop. Every fan works out how to deal with the game's vicissitudes. Go Rams.
