I'm not an Eli Manning fan. I think his play the last two years has been below average, I don't find him a likable person, and I still think his whole draft thing kind of stunk.
But all that said, I would like to honor Eli, as he is benched by the Giants, for what he did.
He beat Tom Brady and Bellicheat twice in the Super Bowl. One of those times prevented the Cheatriots from having the first ever 19-0 season.
There were other players on those Giants teams, and we should honor and remember their contribution as well. But as Eli takes a step to the bench and what very well might be the end of his career, I just have two words.
