As you well know, you cannot average 1 game. And since you obviously read my post, you know I also said that maybe you shouldn't even count the first game, and that I also said its too early (2 weeks into the season) to get too far into any of this with stats. So I think we agree on all of this.
My main point is that right now, as I type, I do not trust Goff. And you are going to hate my reasoning. Its a gut feeling. Its not scientific, there are no stats to back it up. I just feel, in my gut, that he isn't trustworthy. What does that even mean? He just seems lightyears from that monday night vs KC Goff right now. I just wouldn't trust him to deliver in a big spot in a big game right now. Yesterday should have been a big game, but the lack of Brees kinda killed that vibe imo. So like I said, its early and there is plenty of time to change my gut feeling.
I didn't average it, I said what would it look like if game 2 were indicative. Which isn't supposed to be a big challenge against you, just a different way to look at it.
I was just saying, from my own different perspective, if rust is the culprit for game 1, the odds say rust goes away. And so while you did acknowledge that, I took another step and looked at the numbers.
You can distrust Goff. For any reason. I am not the "how dare you criticize our team" homer type.
