I'm old enough to remember the Bart Starr glory years. But the Pack had a really solid QB2 named Zeke Bratkowski. He played a fair amount and did it really well.

Instant Replay, Jerry Kramer, the GB guard's journal of a season, remembers 2 games against DET. In the first, Alex Karras ate him up and got Player of the Week honors. Kramer blamed it on Starr's timing on the count. In game 2, Bratkowski played and kept Karras off balance, allowing Kramer to eat him up. Back then, backup QBs meant something.
