My bet on Demby is that anyone who watches the all 22 or reviews the game in detail will not be coming here saying Demby was bad all game.
Odds are they will say he was a little rough at first and then settled down.
Demby has a bad rap from the summer. But the way the Rams played OL in the summer, it was easy to see the struggles but hard to see the gains. He was not in a coherent veteran unit in the pre-season and they asked him to play several spots (if not every spot). NO ONE looks good under those conditions.
But I bet it paid off and Demby does just fine as a replacement for Blythe. Now it's easier. He's only playing guard (not switching positions) and he's now just one replacement on an established line (as opposed to being 1 in 5 youngsters who are are not a coherent unit).
