the announcer speculated that a cleat got into his face mask.... and I can't say that's impossible. BUT... what I've read, (not all that much), is that it was NOT a concussion... which confuses me a little.... because of his reaction to the hit, which seemed far more and different to me than how one would react to a laceration.
