You have to wonder how much he is going to progress from this terrible game to week 1 of the regular season.
I understand that it takes awhile to come back from his ACL and to get back into the flow of things in live action. But....dang.... he was really bad.
Of course, I've never thought he's all that. Will he return to being a more or less average NFL starting QB? Probably. But I doubt little more.
Garopollo has gotten so much notoriety because he was on the Pats, behind Brady, and because he was picked up by the Niners who get way more media attention than they deserve (thanks to Berman and ESPN).
Wouldn't shock me if the Niners declared him not ready for week 1.
