Joe Curley@vcsjoecurleySean McVay told reporters today that, in the event of a long-term injury to Kiser, veteran Bryce Hager would step into the MLB role in the Rams’ base 4-3 defense. Hager is one of the few vets who have been with the team since before it moved from St. Louis in 2016.
Second-year LB Travin Howard and rookie Dakota Allen, who the Rams have drafted the last two seasons, also move up the depth chart. “We’ve got some good guys that have shown that they can play football,” McVay said.
