Both AD and Weddle have come out this offseason pre-camp and predicted that this Ram D could be quite “special”. Bold statements indeed by these elite type players, both certainly qualified to know about such matters.
So, who am I to say otherwise? On paper, this secondary looks like one of the league’s top units.
Here’s my “just gonna say it”. Weddle might prove to be that last missing link which completes this Wade D. His intangibles are off the charts. He’s no longer physically in his prime, but his football wisdom is coach-like and his positive impact on this D just might be amazing.
Weddle is potentially a brilliant Snead signing.
