Play 3 1 and 10 It gets better
McVay motions Cooks across the formation in jet motion. Lions remain in their Cover 4 shell. No reaction to the motion. The OLB, I assume is on flat duty or has receiver 3 as his responsibility. End result, McVay isolates Cooks on the OLB with no Safety help over the top. Top of the screen. Noticed how the top side Safety is moved out of position by the top side WR inside the numbers.
Saffold gets destroyed in pass pro and Goff throws the ball early, incomplete. This is an easy TD if Goff gets a few tenths of a second more to throw the ball.
