Is how they knew they could move down 3x times and still get him. I mean if that is true and I don't doubt it is, how were they so sure he'd be there?
Did they feel like other teams didn't see something or know something they saw/knew?
And if so what was it they saw or knew that other teams didn't? It seems to me that they prioritized a run support safety and moved down to get him where those types tend to go. So maybe they had a round 1 grade on him but knew that those types tend to slide? Which is really risky if that's the fit you want and you're betting that other teams aren't seeing the same thing or looking for the same thing.
Would love to ask that scout some of those questions.
