Brutal loss that I'll never forget.
I was at a Christmas party with a bunch of co workers, and I was the ONLY Ram fan there, being surrounded by 15 plus Whiner fans. They were whining about the refs, while the Rams were absolutely dominating them. Toughest loss for this Ram fan.
It led to one heck of a run by our Rams, but 3 straight games on the East coast leading up to the NFC championship was just too much for that team I do believe. That was probably THE best Whiner team they ever had, and was one of the top teams of all time in the NFL. I believe that they were 1st in offense and defense that year and we should've swept them.
Unfortunately that NFC Championship Game was the last time our boys took the field as a good team. We were the sweetheart pick for the 90 Superbowl, but the wheels came off and stayed off for a decade thereafter.
