Scottish Ram
Snead has done an amazing job over the last 3 years. Not many decisions that you would question and he has nailed the last 3 drafts.
I was one of those defending Snead during the transition, before the first draft with McVay.
It's too soon really to "grade" the 2017-19 drafts but they do appear to be good ones. But Rams drafted well from 2012 on. I generally argue (based on a little bit of research) that any team drafting around 40% is doing well. Overall they did that. The weakness of the 2012-2016 drafts was offensive drafting, but since Snead is not an uber-GM, and defines his job as helping coaches find fits for their systems, it makes sense that they would draft better on offense with better offensive coaches. Still, they hit on Goff, Gurley, Hav, so it's not like the weakness I named was a killer.
It was more than enough for me to say before the draft in 2017 that Snead was a good one and keeping him was smart.
