Not sure how it will work out but the fully guranteed money is what they really sign for(yes if they go through to the 3rd year of the deal they will get most of the total contract, until they sign the third one with one or two years left on this one).
While it doesn't kick in until 2021 he will be getting a huge bonus check I would assume soon.
