Rams moving Morgan Fox back to DL after trying him at OLB last yearLast offseason, the Los Angeles Rams moved Morgan Fox from defensive end to outside linebacker out of pure necessity. At 6-foot-3, 276 pounds, he’s a much better fit on the defensive line than he is standing up on the edge. But with the Rams seeking any and all help at OLB last year, Fox was open to the position change.
Unfortunately, his season ended before it could even begin when he suffered a torn ACL in May and missed the entire 2018 campaign. That was a significant blow for the Rams, who were hoping he could become a starter opposite Samson Ebukam. Before the injury, Fox was taking first-team reps at outside linebacker.
Fox is thrilled to be going back to his original spot along the defensive line this season, though. He is no longer in line to play outside linebacker and will instead put his hand in the dirt again.
