Not saying JG hasn't abilities . He is different from Wentz. All I am trying to say is he can be as good as Wentz at winning football games(and he is already won playoff games, something Wentz hasn't been healthy enough to do yet).
Read an article on Yardbarker saying this was actually bad for JG and that the Rams would use the bad games against him in the contract talks(if it were me I tell them to let me see what I can get in free agency then).
Wentz while good last year was only 5-6 JG 15-4. A lot for them both has to do with the offense line play in front of them(Wentz sacked 31 times in 11 games).
Then if the Rams don't work on a deal now then they must think less of him than the Eagles do of Wentz(again I think salary cap implications have more to do with this than how they view him). If the Rams had the money structure to extend him I think they would(can still do this).
But why rush, if he plays great then it will be maybe 2/3/4 more million added to his yearly paycheck. That's 8/16 million over 4 years.
