Bellicheck very rarely gives accurate injury reports. Maybe Sean is taking a page from this book.
There are big penalties for failing to report a serious injury, as Albany points out.
Plus according to that logic, we can never trust or believe any injury report by any team, ever.
In which case never discuss any injury at any time, or assume that any presumably non-injured player is actually without an injury.
Both things apply to all players at all times.
But. That's not how it works. A team cannot fail to report an actual injury.
