Great job.....thanks for publishing your pre-draft thoughts, too. Humility wins us over
Regarding the O line prospects:Because of these 2 prospects, I think the Rams are 'set' at OLine through 2022 or so....assuming NOteboom continues to improve.
Both Edwards and Evans will be very good guards in the NFL, I am convinced of that. THey have a year to learn and lift. Evans grades out OK at LT, but at guard he will be a great pass blocker--especially with his long arms. Edwards has all hte movement skills, and power, he just needs Kromer's technique training. Both Edwards and Evans are smart, too.
I am not sold on Noteboom as a long term starter at guard, but I am at left tackle (he doesn't sustain blocks, zero mean streak, but Rams do OZS, so maybe he works at guard). Gandy and A. Barron were both weak, but had great athleticism to make their run blocking palatable...NOteboom is the same. Noteboom to LT in 2020 looks ok to me.
Scott might end up being like Vince Newsome (though Vince was smart, I don't know about Scott).
Long, the CB, reminds me of the Seattle CBs. His playing style is in your face; he has some Talib in him; he will get burned quite a bit in 1-1 coverage, but that is ok, because the Rams will always be a top 5-8 offense at worse. Long shuts people down for long periods of the game; he is the perfect CB for them. Greedy WIlliams has serious emotional problems, like M Peters...doesn't work for the Rams. I said the same about DeSean Jackson, lol.
If Jeff Fisher drafter
Henderson the 3rd rounder, I would laugh; but with McVay he may become special. I am sure it had nothing to do with Gurley.
