Dak is ok. But I think the big difference is the system/culture. Dak is surrounded by talent on a team that wants to win with defense. Dak is not a QB who will be throwing on the majority of first and second downs.
Paying Dak 25+ million is insanity but the Cowboys will do it I believe. He's young, elusive, durable and from what I hear plus plus in the locker room. But he will not win you a Super Bowl. They will compete for the division every year but man that team is easy to defend.
For me, the key comparison for Goff is Cousins. I see Goff as a superior version of Cousins. But to commit 5+ years at a likely 30 mil per--I'm not there. I'd franchise Goff a couple years and see if he develops mentally. Goff has insane weapons and a great system. I am really excited at the loss of Sullivan and the subsequent removal of the crutch Goff has had. Time for McVay to let Goff be his own man. Goff's tools and talent really are exceptional but he has to find the open guy. McVay must be so frustrated with that kid.
What do you think Tanneyhill does in this offense? Bradford would be killing it in his prime.
