Seahawks already have a QB who can kill a defense with his feet. And they added DK Metcalf who will run go routes to stretch the defense and also some short stuff to try to bust him for big gainers.
Niners' Garoppolo isn't afraid to take what's offered with his feet. They have Kittle looking like a future HoF TE right now and added Deebo Samuel to the slot, tackling in that LOS and short drop area are going to be a premium again vs their offense.
Cards added a QB who's gonna make Russel Wilson look slow and who's gonna have a college offense designed to utilize his legs. Also added Hakeem Butler and the (IMO) greatly underrated Andy Isabella to go with last year's Christian Kirk and our own former Pharoh Cooper.
Not to mention the way our defense played vs the run for much of last season and the trend of teams adding Faulk-like RBs to their backfields and utilizing them in the passing game.
Marquis Christian had what, 30% or 40% snaps last season? Yeah. This dude is going to be on the field a LOT.
