Sorry to burst that bubble, but it breaks down more like this.
There are a wide variety of views on Goff and his progress and what the last few games mean. People interpret facts differently. That's normal and inevitable--different views. Since we're all writing about this in advance of the future, and it's the future that will answer these things, we are all being somewhat speculative about how Goff will do this year and the next few years.
It certainly does not reduce to 2 simplistic positions (homers, critics). There's different gradations for all of this. Lots of different ways of seeing it.
Now of course it's a message board, so there are always some who will proclaim their interpretation/opinion as "truth." We all know that, it's par for the course. But it would be more objectively accurate to say there's a range of different opinions and that that's what drives the discussion.
