Cooks signed a 5 year, $81M deal that ties him to the Rams thru the 2023 season. Right now he's tied for the 4th highest yearly average for WRs, behind OBJ, Antonio Brown, and Mike Evans and tied with DeAndre Hopkins and Adam Thielen.
Coming up as FAs in 2020:
1. Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints
2. Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs
3. Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys
4. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals
5. Robby Anderson, New York Jets
It wouldn't surprise me if they all surpassed Cooks' deal.
Then there will be another crop in 2021, then another in 2022. By then Cooks' contract will look like a bargain.
