what would you do to secure a qb?
you want to draft one? thats fine....then we will waste the prime years of gurley, donald, woods, and cooks waiting around for THAT guy to be ready to take this team to the superbowl IF they pick the RIGHT guy. in addition, we will likely have to trade up to get a good one so we will lose a significant amount of draft capital in the process.
sign one as a free agent? good luck. Nick Foles? Case Keenum? Kirk Cousins? Your not going to Aaron Rodgers in free agency unless you take a medical risk (brees) or an aging vet (favre).
trade? i guess its possible to get a guy like garropplo but that type of scenario doesnt happen very often. moreover, you will have to likely need to sign him for an astronomical contract without the benefit of having him in your system for a few years. again, a risky proposition.
find the next kurt warner? again good luck combing searching the stocking selves for guys with dreams of becoming a qb.
