The Wilson contract ended any hope of the Hawk's being able to also satisfy Clark.
OLB pass rushers like that don't grow on trees. The Seahawk's D just took a serious blow...... not too far off from if the Rams had been unable to afford Donald.
Going to be interesting to see how the Rams handle the issue of keeping really good players on their roster after this year. It actually plays pretty well that this will no doubt be Whitworth's final year and free up $16+ million for helping to retain Goff.
Demoff and company have said for a long time that they have prepared for the Goff extension to be sure they don't have to jettison important pieces. In a couple of years we'll see if that prep has paid off.
