Had to go back and look at some Ram 1st round drafting history since Snead came aboard.
The only 2 years a 1st rounder was not traded or traded for was 2014, pick 13 was some dude name Aaron Donald. 2015 pick 10 was not traded or traded for and the pick was another dude named Todd Gurley.
Now of course picking at 31 will be challenge, but considering the history of staying in your first round spot under Snead, the hopes have to be high.
Rams hire Les Snead as GM
Feb 14, 2012ST. LOUIS -- When he was in middle school in Eufaula, Ala., Les Snead used to skip class to watch the NFL draft on TV. Compare his picks to the real ones, too.
"I'd get the bubblegum cards and I'd try to have my own draft, pick a team and figure out ways to do fantasy football before they had it," Snead said. "So maybe I should have copyrighted the idea."
Now, he's living the fantasy.
The St. Louis Rams hired the 41-year-old Snead as their general manager on Tuesday, bringing in another front-office veteran in their effort to escape the NFL cellar.
Responding to the post: During Les Snead's time as the Rams GM, he has worked for 2 polar opposite head coaches under Fisher and McVay.
Does Snead's history of first round picks/trades translate to a tendency without having any first round picks during his 2 year McVay regime? (maybe)For kicks this is his history under Fisher and McVay.

Snead does have a trend for being known as "Trader Les" but we need a larger sample size with his first round tendencies working under his second head coach.
This is the first time McVay and Snead have had a first round draft pick together. If they agree to trade back into the 2nd round in the 2019 NFL draft, this trend will be undeniable.
