Man, that comment brings back a lot of bad memories from the Super Bowl.
It was so frustrating watching that game. I kept wondering why we were not able to stop Edelman from catching that 5-6 yard crossing route all day long?
I dont remember how many times they ran that basic play and completed it, but it seems like a bunch.
Not only did we not make adjustments offensively, we didnt do enough to stop this from happening on D as well.
As far as Lawrence, I actually do like the thought of him clogging up the middle. We were terrible against the run in the regular season and I think he would help.
That was frustrating, but our defense was not the problem in that game.
