I don't know what the original timeline for his rehab was. Maybe he's right on schedule.
But they can throw in all the reassuring phrases they want - "he should be fine by the time the season starts...blah, blah, blah".
Backs are tricky, and it's hard to make a full and complete recovery without lingering effects from a back injury. Oh, trust me, I know it.
Even if there's no pain, just a loss of flexibility there could affect a QB's motion, imo.
