I’m not of the opinion that Ebu is “good enough”. At least not currently.
It’s nothing personal, believe me. He’s very likable and tries hard, two endearing qualities that fans appreciate. And who knows, maybe he takes a big step forward this season?
He had the one marvelous game against the Chiefs, but other than that? Nothing special at all. Not even average, IMO, as I re-watched every single game.
Too many plays where he gets washed out, fails to set the edge, runs himself out of plays. Three sacks all season from an edge rusher? Seriously?
We need better if we want to ever see this Wade D fulfill it’s elite potential.
I wish Ebu the best and will root for him since he is a Ram, of course. But, like Joyner, Barron, Suh, Longacre, and others, it’s best that the Rams move on for varying reasons. We can do better. IMO, lol.
