I thought the central premise was that he had such a cancerous relationship with the HC that it cost the team titles.
The questions are: was their relationship cancerous as sources close to the situation say and did that cancerous relationship cause the team's downfall?
And that question is broad enough to have several possible outcomes. You can decide, yes the relationship was strained but it was not the sole cause of losing. Or, yes the relationship was not a good one and was fraught and it eventually caused them to lose more. Or it had nothing to do with winning/losing but it was a strained coach/qb relationship. Or you can decide that's more on the coach than the qb. Or it's on both.
Etc. etc. etc.
What you CAN'T do though is say that the dynamic between coach and qb is something no one but those 2 would know about.
As you say, other players would see whether or not AR changed plays. They probably even have different views of it. Some might go, and good thing too. Some might go, well they needed to be on the same page and they weren't. This is yet another case of "etc. etc. etc."
And those things ARE knowable. We know that Warner changed some plays from Martz (including the TD pass to Proehl in the 99 championship game). We heard over the years that Martz got so he wasn't happy about that when it kept happening. So these kinds of things do happen. Other team members can see it.
