I still say that looking at that game as a saint fan I would be pissed, but not because of that play....I'd be pissed in the FACTS that we had chances early to put the RAMS away.....we had a chance even with the play to take them out in OT and did not do it....the play is just a reason IMO to not except the facts.....they lost and they lost because they could not put the RAMS away.....
I feel the same about our loss in the SB.....we had our chances and blew them.....we did not play good enough to take it to them...they controlled us.....
That's true what you say about the chances they had that they didn't capitalize on and if you would actually feel that way as a Saints fan, my hat is off to you. However, the general consensus is that the Saints got ripped off and should have been the team that went to the Super Bowl. If the tables were turned and the "non-call" went against the Rams, I would probably feel like the Rams got ripped off too.
Although a game NEVER comes down to one play, the truth is that if that call was made, the Saints had a
better chance at winning. The truth also is, if that call was made you never know what would have transpired after it.
