....They are not being red shirted, simply they can't beat out a starter (which I understand a 6th round probably wont) . I just don't see many of the 6 6th and 7th rounders being here, especially since they never started and the majority never even saw the field. I think most will be bounced by the new draft class. You roll the dice and hope you hit gold or they can develop.....most do not.
One incorrect thing you have here is that 2013-2015 isn't that long ago. In NFL terms it's a long time when you consider that the average NFL career is approx. 3.5 years.
That means the majority of players from 2015 are no longer in the league. So criticizing the Rams late round draftees for not being in the league is silly because that's the norm. And 2013? That's 6 years ago, that's almost two NFL careers.
As for whether the higher round draft picks like Noteboom and Allen were essentially being redshirted, well you say one thing Snead said something else.
But hey, I agree with you. Snead said they had no plans to play them last year but what does he know about the Rams plans!? We should believe you instead!
