Unless he totally wets the bed this year, he will get a new deal right up there with the other top "paid" QBs. Does he "deserve" it, who knows, but no one other than Snead, and McVay will make the call.
Why do people think JG will get less than the going rate every other QB is getting off "potential? Jimmy G got a massive deal and hadn't done a thing in all the years he's been in the league. Same with Stafford,
I get it, people don't want him to get paid if it means others don't , but it's the way it works right now.
And he will get the deal because the franchise tag would be more than what the deal would be spread over the 5/6 years. imo.
