The Ram schedule doesn’t look any worse than the last two, at least at this point.

And I think the Rams will be an improved team. Especially on D. I don’t see this ‘19 Ram D giving up a lot of 30+ point games.

Gurley is a huge question mark. I don't see him being the same guy he was for the majority of 2018 when he was a dominant force.

I don't see the OL being better at all. I expect it to be average at best. Saffold was outstanding for most of the year last year, plus we were very fortunate with injuries for the 2nd year in a row. That isn't likely to continue.

We do get Kupp back, and that is a big plus, but how long will it take to be back to his old self after the surgery? Thats no sure thing it happens early.

Maybe the defense will be better, but it will have to a ton better if we are going to win 13 games again.

I expect some regression. My guess is 10-6 this year. But that could be thrown off if Goff take a big step up into the elite class. Right now, Goff is about a top 10 QB, he needs to be a top 5 guy to get near 13 wins again. Even then there are many obstacles in a 16 game season. But we need Goff to play in the Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers class for the offense to improve. Mostly because of Gurley.

I can’t really disagree with your points on the O, max.

I was thinking about our improved D.

Weddle>Joyner
Peters better with Talib and as modified zone defender
Healthy Talib
Fowler all year
Brockers healthy and should be improved
There will be an upgrade over Ebu somehow, some way.
Suh’s replacement should be at least a push during regular season
Kiser (or someone) should be better run defender than Barron.
New DL coach Henderson is likely gonna be an upgrade over Johnson.

In short, I see a much improved D this season.

You're not allowing for injuries, 43.

We had a healthy Talib and Peters to start the year. How'd that go?

Also, Donald, Suh, and Johnson were healthy all year. Suh is likely gone. And what if Donald or JJ gets hurt?

We had both CB get hurt last year and that had a lot to do with the bad performances. You cant count on the D staying healthy. And Talib isn't getting any younger.

I'm just trying to be a realist here. Sure, I hope for the best, but I expect some injuries. They happen every year. And they will affect us once again.
