Nice post, dz.
Lot of tea leaf reading in it, but that’s what all of us are doing, ourselves. Lol.
When a roster such as ours includes so many highly paid but talented players it is inevitable that tough releases must occur.
Rams FO must try to make the “least worst” decisions at each turn.
I’m still thinking that Saffold coulda remained a Ram for $10-11M and then the Rams would be in better overall shape as they finished their offseason. Kills me to lose an elite player, man.
Again, I like Boom, but I don’t like the other ripple effects that gave now intruded.
LOL, yeah there’s some tea leaf reading. But I was careful to limit it mostly to things I’ve actually heard them say.
I know lots of things are said at this time of year but when you see them doing exactly what they say, those are some strong leaves.
As far as losing Saffold, I’m with you. I knew going in that we would either lose Saffold or have to cut Brockers. I don’t see any other way they could have afforded him. Do you?
IOW, they were gonna be hurtin’ somewhere.
