One thing with their 2020 cap is (as it stands now) there's really no one they can release this time next year that saves them a lot of money. Assuming Barron is gone this year it's only releasing Havenstein, Woods or NRC that saves them $4M+ and I think releasing any of those three is highly unlikely...

Over-The-Cap-Rams- click on the 2020 tab.

It's actually a good thing because it shows how cleanly they are managing their cap.

This is true but some pretty expensive contracts that likely won't be renewed are dropping off.

Whit, Talib, Brockers, Peters. Probably at least 3 of those guys won't ever be on the books again.
